Commodity Buyer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • purchase of direct materials for the projects in accordance with the planned budget, schedule and of the appropriate/required quality
  • conduct purchasing process according to Brose standards including RFQ (Request for Quotation) process, Feasibility Study, Decision Meeting and Project Development of purchased parts
  • collaborative participation in cost reduction
  • setting targets in collaboration with Central Purchasing and other relevant functions in the acquisition phase of the project
  • planning, coordination and execution of all purchased parts/materials including tooling and prototypes
  • timely involvement of suppliers for project needs
  • data processing in the purchasing system (SAP)
  • prepare supplier "decision meeting", necessary documentation and decision making process
  • ensure and maintain project cost and project profitability throughout the project lifecycle
  • regular updating and reporting of purchasing metrics and themes
  • strategic liaison and collaboration with central purchasing and responsible supervisors
  • responsibility for engineering changes within the project, their implementation and project end of production (EOP). Sample ordering and administration (reimbursements, purchase orders, etc.) during the development phase of the project

 

Your Profile

  • 3 years of experience on similar position
  • experience in automotive industry and corporate environment is highly preferred
  • technical understanding
  • knowledge of ISO/IATF is nice to have
  • fluent English
  • willingness to travel up to 30-40%
  • driving licence

Salary

 

  • Salary (brutto): from xxx Eur/month
  • The salary consists of a basic wage from 1600 EUR + 10% of the variable components, which are paid on the basis of an internal regulation.
  • After fulfillment the internal criteria, there is possibility to obtain a summer and winter bonus (max. 2 x 700 Eur)
