Head of Production Technology

Your tasks

• Contribute to developing a medium- to long-term strategy for the plant, focusing on production technologies and associated areas
• Define and implement preventive and reactive measures to maintain the plant's technical availability
• Implement standards for technical functions and processes in coordination with central departments, business units, and operational and strategic plants
• Independently design and implement measures for cost-effective and technically optimized process design, including ongoing cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement processes
• Actively participate in the technology network by supporting new technologies and sharing best practices
• Shape the develop process through simultaneous engineering with central departments, including decisions on technical implementations and selection of equipment suppliers for new projects
• Implement control mechanisms, benchmarks, and key performance indicators
• Organize and implement ongoing development of process expertise in key technologies (e.g., robotics, welding, winding, control systems) through recruiting, training, and evaluating employees
• Recognize capacity bottlenecks and implement necessary countermeasures
• Organize and implement structures and workflows for occupational safety and environmental protection to ensure compliance with legal standards

Your Profile

• Basic studies in the field of technical sciences
• Minimum 8 years of experience on similar roles
• Experience with machine and plant engineering, technology, and process knowledge in motor and electronics manufacturing
• Great leadership and decision-making skills
• Intercultural competencies and ability to build international networks
• Fluent English language skills
