Lean Engineer

At this moment we are searching for Lean Engineer who is responsible for planning, conducting, and following up on BPS (Brose Production System) workshops and trainings, qualifying participants and employees in BPS, and initiating and supporting improvement projects.

Your tasks

• Design and implementation of Lean methods and tools, e.g. Shop Floor Management (SFM)
• Assists in creating the project and workshop plan for the plant
• Implementation of BPS (Brose Production System) standard trainings and workshops (BPS principles & methods and tools)
• Guarantee of the implementation agreements from workshops, trainings etc. through independently conducted, regular follow-up
• Support in the derivation of improvement projects based on plant key figures and the BPS assessment
• Independent performance of BPS audits (self-assessment) while ensuring the group standard
• Informs butom and top-down
• Responsible for company suggestion system (IDEAS)

Your Profile

• University degree in technical field
• Minimum 2 years of experience on similar position
• Experience with Lean tools (5S, 8 types of waste, SMED, VSM, Shopfloor management, PDCA, Kaizen, Gemba, TPM)
• Ability for conducting workshops
• Good knowledge of process optimization and moderation skills
• Basic knowledge in project management
• Fluent English language skills
