Quality Engineer

Your tasks

  • Support the setup and development of the Electronics Pre-Production Quality organization through knowledge transfer, employee training, and close cooperation with different teams
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional projects, including production ramp-ups, relocations, process changes, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage customer complaints and maintain proactive communication with customers, including monitoring quality performance through customer portals
  • Identify, assess, and resolve quality issues using established quality methodologies and tools such as 8D, PDCA, FMEA, and root cause analysis
  • Initiate, coordinate, and follow up on immediate containment actions to protect customers and production processes
  • Facilitate problem-solving teams, conduct root cause investigations, and ensure implementation of sustainable corrective and preventive actions
  • Create, maintain, and monitor quality documentation and reports
  • Control and analyze quality-related costs, support warranty and complaint management activities, and provide data for customer discussions and negotiations
  • Proactively identify risks, drive escalation processes when required, and ensure continuous improvement of product and process quality

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Quality Engineer within the automotive, electronics, or manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including 8D, PDCA, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and problem-solving techniques
  • Experience in customer complaint management and customer-facing quality activities
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment
  • Experience with SAP and quality management systems is considered an advantage
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
