Management Accountant (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- Analyze, forecast, plan, and control the commercial development of the Coventry Plant and related areas
- Independently collect, validate, and prepare accurate, timely, and transparent data following Brose standards
- Act as a sparring partner to supported functions to ensure the competitiveness and profitability of the plant
- Prepare period-end closing reports in line with corporate guidelines
- Analyze monthly variances (actual vs. forecast/budget), provide comments, and recommend profit improvement measures
- Develop and support implementation of concepts to optimize KPIs related to efficiency, effectiveness, and quality
- Conduct special analyses and take responsibility for projects and measures
- Ensure transparency in cost center structures, overhead allocation, segment reporting, and calculation of hourly rates
- Verify procurement requests and prepare cost-benefit analyses for products, processes, and make-or-buy decisions
- Support benchmark activities and review existing controlling processes to propose improvements
- Collaborate closely with Plant Management, local and central controlling, finance, and business division teams
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification
- 3-5 years of professional experience in finance, controlling, or management accounting
- Strong knowledge of Finance & Controlling principles (Management Accounting)
- Proficient in SAP (or similar ERP systems) and MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Visual Basic
- Business fluent in English; basic knowledge of German is a plus
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to management
