Paint Technologist

Your tasks

Supervision and optimization of the e-coat system and its components. 
Development of paint racks, standardization of process and testing. 
Ensuring technically immaculate condition of the e-coat system. 
Quotation preparations, engineering write- ups, collecting related data and being able to present and explain quotes to customers, pertaining also to new business. 
Planning and implementation of process capable and economic beneficial projects within the set valid pre production guidelines inclusive preparation of supportive documentation. 
Supervision and line trials of all prototypes including technical release procedures. 
Supporting and technical instructional schooling of paint technicians and supporting staff within the surface technologies related areas. 
Preparation of all necessary technology related documentation as well as compilation and changes to master data. Work one on one with external suppliers with in area of surface technologies (paint, pretreatment, waste water etc.).

Your Profile

Surface, coating, chemical technologist, comparable to graduate engineering technologist, bachelor in science and lengthy job experience
Min. 5 years direct job related experience within the surface coating technologies with focus on e-coat.
Technological detailed knowledge (Methods and Process) 
Surface technology focus area of expertise
Chemical background
Project management
Good market and coating business understanding and experience
MTM
Good presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Self-starter, self-driven
Excellent decision making skills
High amount of Integrity and dependability
