Your tasks

• Operation, maintenance, and further development of the global Palo Alto firewall infrastructure
• operate Datacenter (North/South, East/West), Shopfloor-, LAN- and Perimeter Firewalls
• Analysis, evaluation, and implementation of security policies and requirements
• Incident, problem, and change management in the area of Firewall security
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and operational manuals
• Support during audits and security assessments

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT specialist training, or equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in network security and firewall management
• In-depth knowledge of administering Palo Alto Networks firewalls (including Panorama) is a plus, but knowledge about other vendors is also welcome
• basic knowledge about network protocols, OSI-Model, routing, and switching
• Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python) is a plus
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Analytical thinking, structured working style, and a high level of personal responsibility
