IT Administrator Shopfloor/Production Systems (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • Administration of shopfloor/production systems.
  • Responsible for a performant and stable shopfloor application environment for the assigned applications.
  • Execution of system updates and upgrades including the creation of standard documentation.
  • Incident and problem handling within the shopfloor application landscape.
  • Collaboration with other IT teams and departments to optimize production processes.
  • Professional stakeholder management based on a high level of customer understanding and communication skills with focus on quality delivery.
  • Development of technical concepts and implementation support of internal IT projects.

Your Profile

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience
  • Several years of professional experience in IT administration.
  • Knowledge of database (e.g. SQL) and network technologies (e.g. OSI-Layer, Security).
  • Knowledge of domain functionalities (e.g. AD, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with administration of operating systems (e.g. Windows or Linux) and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player and service delivery mentality with strong communication skills.
  • Good English language skills in written and spoken form.
  • Willingness and flexibility to learn new technologies scale up quickly and adapt to different roles as the situation demands.
  • Experience with MES is advantageous but not mandatory.
