Your tasks

 

  • Responsible for maintaining records of measurement equipment in the Palstat system.
  • Ensures regular calibration of all measuring instruments.
  • Communicates with various departments regarding metrology-related support for measuring devices.
  • Conducts internal training on metrology, proper handling and usage conditions of measuring equipment, validation of calibration stickers, and response protocols for damaged tools.
  • Coordinates with external accredited calibration laboratories and service providers for calibration and repair of instruments.
  • Participates in regular training related to metrology management in compliance with current legislation.
  • Supports planning and execution of corrosion testing.
  • Evaluates and documents the results of corrosion tests.
  • Reviews and applies customer and Brose-specific test requirements.
  • Performs basic maintenance of corrosion test chambers.
  • Determines chemical parameters such as pH levels and conductivity.
  • Manages and orders necessary test materials and equipment.
  • Exchanges knowledge and updates with the central laboratory in Coburg.
  • Provides support in the area of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures.
  • Carries out laboratory tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Maintains cleanliness and order in the workplace in accordance with 6S principles, and complies with internal standards including BBR, occupational safety (BOZP), fire protection (OPP), EMS system, environmental protection, and energy efficiency.
  • Performs other related duties as instructed by the supervisor.

 

Your Profile

 

  • Completed secondary or higher education (preferably in a technical field).
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the field of metrology and calibration of measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards.
  • Experience with corrosion testing (e.g. NSS according to DIN EN ISO 9227, CH and AHT according to DIN EN ISO 6270-2, and climate change testing according to PV 1210 and DIN EN ISO 11997).
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of automotive products and standards (including basic knowledge of automotive surface protection types).
  • Service-oriented mindset with strong work ethic and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • English language – intermediate level.
  • German language – an advantage.

Salary

 

  • Salary (brutto): from 1440 Eur/month
  • The salary consists of a basic wage from 1320 EUR + 10% of the variable components, which are paid on the basis of an internal regulation.
  • After fulfillment the internal criteria, there is possibility to obtain a summer and winter bonus (max. 2 x 700 Eur)
