Your Task

• Advanced Patent Searches Conduct in-depth novelty,patentability,and prior art searches using multiple databases to ensure high-quality and reliable results.
• Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) Analysis Perform detailed FTO searches and provide risk insights by identifying potentially blocking patents and evaluating claim coverage.
• State-of-the-Art & Landscape Studies Execute comprehensive landscape and SoA studies to identify technology trends,key players,and innovation directions. Search Strategy Development Design optimized search strategies using keywords,classifications,and semantic tools to improve search accuracy and efficiency. Multi-Database Research Expertise
• Utilize both free and subscribed databases effectively to retrieve relevant patent and non-patent literature across jurisdictions.
• Technology Monitoring & Patent Alerts Continuously track patents,scientific publications,and competitor activities,and proactively share actionable alerts with stakeholders.
• Analytical Interpretation of Result Analyze search outputs critically to derive meaningful insights,identify gaps,and support decision-making in R&D and IP strategy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Guidance Work closely with engineering teams,attorneys,and junior analysts,while supporting and mentoring less experienced team members.
• IP Strategy Contribution Contribute to patent strategy by aligning search insights with business goals,identifying white spaces,and supporting portfolio development.
• Project Ownership & Process Improvement Lead complex projects,ensure timely delivery,and drive continuous improvement in search methodologies and internal processes.

Your Profile

• Formal education(and specialization)Work experience Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Electronic,Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent 06 - 09 years Specialized knowledge and skills Proven experience in patent-related roles,with a strong understanding of classification systems,patent and non-patent literature databases,search tools and methodologies.
• Excellent organizational,analytical,communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills,capable of working effectively across different levels of the organization and with external partners.
