Your tasks

• ALM Specialist in DevOps team will be responsible to design, build and configure applications for customer projects thereby handling template management and configuration management strategies to meet business processes and application requirements as part of central division to support all business divisions units. This shall include understanding and assessing requirements from internal customers, providing technical feasibility analysis, knowing strengths and weakness/limitations of the tools and provide technical assessment feedback to respective stakeholders.
• Requirements gathering from global end users/stakeholders communication meeting for code beamer or similar ALM tools for software configuration and template management, gather continuous feedback through change of culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to gather and understand business requirements.
• Design, develop and test customized solutions using Codebeamer tool or similar.
• Ownership of ALM team where for project setups, permission management systems, project template changes and template configurations rollout as per defined process.
• Responsible for Integration of External tools with Codebeamer tool or similar.
• Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and end users. Identify best fit applications according to business needs and engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PTC Codebeamer applications.
• Conduct and guide the team during IT Maintenance activities for testing, giving feedback on issues.
• Keep up to date with the latest developments and best practices in PTC Codebeamer development.
• Tackle impediment and issues regarding the applications with end-users / IT team and co-ordinate with vendor PTC support team for resolution.
• Implementing the best practices across devops for Agile Projects for encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible.

Your Profile

• MCA/B.E./B.Tech. degree (e.g. in computer science or information technology).
• 0 Years of working experience. (Fresher).
• Assist in synchronization of trackers, administration, configuration management and integrate Codebeamer with external customer tools like JIRA, GIT, MATLAB, Enterprise Architect etc.
• Gaining an understanding of stakeholders’ needs, prioritization of solutions, then collaboratively building solutions with the global IT support team.
• Experience with ReqIF data interchange and migration for requirement management tools like IBM DOORS etc.
• Experience with traceability, software configuration management and version control systems.
• Leading ALM team and serve as the liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring a mutual understanding of requirements and project feasibility.
• Experience of working with businesses to define processes and implement ALM solutions.
• Experience in Plugin/Widget Development and Reports/Dashboards in Java/Groovy as per need.
• Help the training team to prepare technical content after every upgrade.
• Experience in scripting languages like python for automation.
• Knowledge of Software Engineering and SDLC models like V-model.
• Awareness and worked in Agile/Scrum team to manage/co-ordinate internal sprint releases.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player and good collaboration skills in an international environment.
• PTC Code-beamer Certifications (good to have).
