Your tasks

• Manage and deploy patches and updates to Linux systems across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to schedule the downtimes and coordinate patch deployments.
• Resolve issues arising from patch deployments and update failures.
• Automate patch management process.
• Maintain and update comprehensive patch management documentation.
• Provide reports on patch management activities and system compliance.
• Develop and maintain incident response procedures for patching and security incidents.

Your Profile

• Proven experience as a Patching process specialist.
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and patch management processes.
• Plan, schedule, and execute patch management activities for SUSE Linux (SLES)
• Expertise in SUSE manager
• Knowledge of Network Security and System Auditing is required.
• Expertise in shell scripting languages for automation.
• Vulnerability Management (Rapid 7) and antivirus (CrowdStrike / Trend Micro) knowledge is an added advantage
• Understanding application architecture, cloud/on-premises hybrid systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
