SENIOR CLOUD PLATFORM ENGINEER (AWS & TERRAFORM)

Your tasks

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Ensure security, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency across our cloud environments.
• Manage AWS services, networking, IAM, and infrastructure lifecycle processes.
• Develop automation solutions and operational tooling using Python and Bash.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure high service availability.
• Support AI and software engineering teams by providing robust and efficient cloud platform.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational standards.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform and AWS.
• Proven experience with CI/CD systems, preferably GitLab CI.
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code, cloud architecture, and automation.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Terraform.
• Experience with cloud security, IAM, networking, and operational best practices.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and logging solutions.
• Experience with MLOps or AI workloads is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Confident use of AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices
