Your tasks

• Technical preparation (e.g. UML) and documentation of software concepts
• Leading code reviews
• Defining and reviewing test cases
• Programming of backends with interlink to databases and other services via HTTP-protocol.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of an existing software product.
• Working in an international environment with intensive communication to Indian and German colleagues
• Contribution to the continuous improvement and automation of internal development processes 

Your Profile

• Advanced coding skills in python. (Proven track record)
• Very good understanding in designing and structuring code bases
• Very good understanding in pytest
• Very good knowledge in the python framework Django
• Good knowledge in python tooling. (e.g. pipenv, black, flake8, isort)
• Good technical understanding in web-based transmission formats: (XML, JSON, YAML)
• Good knowledge in creating UML and documentation.
• Knowledge in relational database languages. (e.g. SQL)
• Proven track record with the development environment Visual Studio/VS Code and web-based DevOps lifecycle tools (Git & GitLab)
• Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English
