Your tasks
- To perform structural, fatigue, and optimization simulations for product assemblies using ANSYS Workbench, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- To define simulation scope, collect and validate input data, and align on boundary conditions and load cases with stakeholders.
- To effectively communicate simulation results and recommendations, supporting design decisions and advanced method development.
- Responsible for performing end-to-end simulations in ANSYS Workbench, including Structural and Optimization modules for new product development.
- Conduct fatigue simulations across various product areas to evaluate durability and lifecycle performance.
- Develop and validate material models, including calibration for accurate simulation results.
- Collaborate with German counterparts on advanced simulation methods and continuous capability development.
- Responsible for collecting input data, defining scope, aligning boundary conditions and load cases, and effectively communicating fatigue simulation results, including coordinating discussions and explaining outcomes to stakeholders.
- Responsible for working on improvements if required as per feedback on his/her projects.
- Do periodic knowledge sharing on best practices.
- Responsible for best practice documentation, lesson learnt, project updates, assigning out of office deputy and other routine activities directed by supervisor.
- Support in cases where stretched efforts needed to support business needs.
Your Profile
- ME/MTech Mechanical or Equivalent Qualification.
- Experience: 4-8 years.
- Master’s degree in mechanical/Thermal/Structural/Materials/Machine Design engineering with min. 4-8 yrs. of industry experience mainly in Structural
- Nonlinear and Dynamic simulations.
- Good Experience in: Modelling and Meshing of components and structures.
- Good Experience in: Strength assessment of components.
- First Experience with: Fatigue evaluation of structural parts.
- Extended knowledge in tools Ansys WB and FEMFAT.
- Extended knowledge in: Calibration of material models for the structural simulation.
- Hands of experience on Knowledge on Multi physics simulation is required.
- Strong communication skills, especially with German counterparts.
- Should demonstrate initiative and flexibility.
