Supplier Quality-Purchase

Your tasks

  • Responsible for quality planning activities of supplied parts to ensure quality and timelines of customer projects (APQP, Run@Rate, PPAP).
  • Improve supplier performance.
  • Problem solving with suppliers.
  • Interaction with the Plant Quality departments in India, China.
  • Visit reports in English.
  • Handling and tracking of all supplier quality planning issues in India.
  • Working together with customer quality planner and supplier development from purchase.
  • To conduct T-Audits together with purchase to increase the Indian supplier base.
  • Responsible for development and supervision of supplier quality personnel as defined in Org Chart.
  • Tracking problem solving, active participation in problem solving to close open items.
  • Reporting and Monitoring of supplier issues.
  • Active work with suppliers to improve their skills to Brose needs.
  • Traveling on request inside India mainland, external to India if needed.
  • Provide problem solving techniques to the suppliers (PDCA).
  • Communication and support of Customer Team activities (APQP, Supplier PPAP, etc.).

 

Your Profile

  • BE (university or college) or Diploma Engineer, major in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electro-technique, etc.
  • 6 - 8 years (For BE) / 9 – 11 years’ (For Diploma) working experience in quality or quality assurance department in automobile industry or automobile suppliers preferably motor, electronics with Supplier assessment, component development and supplier interface as key area. Basic understanding of dies casting, metal stamping, plastic, etc. processes Understanding of assembly process.
  • GD&T and familiarity in reading drawings.
  • Capable of conducting Supplier audits.
  • APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA.
  • Knowledge of Stamping, Casting and Injection Moulding process.
  • Training as an auditor.
