System Engineer-Drives System

Your tasks

  • Technical management at system level for electric motor, controller and drives with reference to requirement specification and execute the complete development projects with systems engineering scope ensuring the timely, cost- and quality-compliant application with documentation for complete systems.
  • Checking the technical requirements with the customer, aligning Compliance matrix and deriving the requirements with documentation in the System engineering tool.
  • Development of the system design with a focus on relevant definition of technical concepts from the quotation phase deriving function/features into subsequent application projects.
  • Is a project team member in development meetings and technical contact person to customers, Negotiate & enforce the Brose's interests in coordination for reviews/ releases with customers.
  • Ensuring traceability in systems engineering (SEng) in the principle/basic project and leading the Root cause analysis at the various development stages.
  • Preparation and maintenance of the operating concept in systems engineering tool with architecture creations for Systems requirements (SRS), system designs (SDD), component level requirements (CRS), management plan including objectives, system boundaries, definition of the content maturity to milestones.
  • Development of the system design with a focus on Drive systems and creation of appropriate documentation for internal / external use.
  • Performing system tests, creating documentation, discussing the results with customers for the development and creation of functional optimizations with implementation plan and presentations on application topics for releases.
    Working in the architecture and design definition process of products, managing system requirements in terms of traceability, stakeholder agreements and the integrity of requirements, documented in development tools (BEE Codebeamer, IBM-doors, Enterprise Architect, …) thus creation of generic baselines according to a configuration management process.

 

Your Profile

  • Completed technical studies with up to 4 years of regular study duration.
  • Field of study: Mechanical engineering or similar knowledge and skills acquired in other ways.
  • 4-5 years of experience in automobile related industries preferred.
  • 3-4 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Profound knowledge in development methodology.
  • Good knowledge of mechatronic systems of electrical drive development.
  • Knowledge of system-based engineering.
  • Good knowledge of problem-solving methods (e.g. Why-why Analysis, Fishbone / Ishikawa diagram, DoE, etc).
