Your tasks
- Gate keeper of seats regulations – legal, from OEM and internal.
- Creation of a summary (OnePager) in the event of changes in regulations (comparison of "new" vs. "old").
- Presentation of the changes in the Brose Sitech internal working group "Regulations & Laws”.
- Creation of a decision-making basis for the working group participants, definition and prioritization of further measures if necessary.
- Updating the regulations and laws filed internally at Brose Sitech in consultation with the working group.
- Comparison of specific requirements (related to specific seat components, comparison of country-specific requirements).
- Regularly checks Brose Sitech's internal overview of regulations and laws for any changes, using databases (Aureon, Safety News, ...) and Internet searches.
- Works closely with project test engineers and other project CFTs to interpret and analyze test regulations requirements received from OEM’s RFQ.
- Support working group "Regulations & Laws” in research activities, e.g. for the interpretation of new regulations & laws.
- Advanced language skill in business English (to read and correctly interpret the seats regulations.
- Extended knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Technical expertise such as creation of summary documents (One Pagers), interpretation of regulations & laws.
- Precise and independent way of working.
- Optional: Experience in research activities for technical requirements (laws, consumer requirements).
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree (B. E or B. Tech.) in Mechanical engineering/Automotive engineering or any equivalent graduation.
- Between 6 to 10 years professional experience in automobile related industries preferred in automotive seat systems after graduation.
- Knowledge and experience of working in Automotive Seats and its regulations.
- Knowledge and experience of working with Seat and automotive Components.
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of legal terminologies used in automotive seats regulations.
