Your tasks

• Mentor and lead individuals within the AM/EK-A Organization
• Provide leadership to the organization as a whole for department and/or personnel issues
• Define headcount requirements; interviewing and hiring required personnel to make the NA Purchasing group a functional, value-added organization.
• Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the procurement function.
• Manage all aspects of the Buyers and Supplier Quality roles and responsibilities (target setting, acquisition support, concept phase, APQP, program management, sourcing, etc.).
• Manages and monitors the North America procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements.
• Through strategy review meeting, ensures Buyers maintain a supply base which provides high quality products and services at a competitive price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
• Support the overall sourcing activities within the North American market alignment with global sourcing strategies.

Your Profile

• Above 10 years of experience
• Automotive industry experience
• English fluent
• Negotiation skills
• Cost analysis
• Price benchmarks
• Feasibility assessments
