Supplier Quality Coordinator

Your tasks

  • Independent implementation and management of all quality planning activities (APQP) within the product development process to ensure compliance with cost, quality, and timing targets in cooperation with Purchasing, Technology Experts, and Development.
  • Responsibility for the region compliance with defined standards and methods within the business units.
  • Ensure the required quality level of purchased parts in series production, with the goal of continuously reducing supplier-caused complaints and ensuring cost recovery from the responsible party.
  • Independently implement the supplier quality strategy in Purchasing for the region in all the business units and contribute to the overall strategy definition.
  • Ensure corrective actions for supplier-caused issues are considered for new projects within the business units of the region, as part of Lessons Learned and Read-Across activities.
  • Independently manage the escalation process for purchased-part quality issues at escalation level 2.
  • Initiate measures to sustainably improve the performance level of the regional supplier base in cooperation with Purchasing, based on supplier evaluations.
  • Ensure quality-related customer requirements (e.g., specifications, standards, etc.) throughout the supply chain.
  • Disciplinary and functional leadership and development of direct reports in accordance with Brose leadership principles, including resource planning.
  • Implement and monitor all necessary occupational safety, health, and environmental protection measures within the responsible area.

Your Profile

  • Strong persuasion and assertiveness; leadership and organizational competence in quality management.
  • Focusing on results, challenges, and achieving goals; valuing efficiency and progress.
  • Values accuracy, Analytical approach, detail-oriented, and systematic.
  • Clear and trackable records.
  • English fluent.
  • Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Knowledge of IATF16949, VDA6, ISO14001, statistical methods.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in automotive industry.
