Sales Manager

Your tasks
- Act as the primary sales interface for key European OEM customers (e.g., BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo), building long-term partnerships and driving profitable business growth.
- Lead the development, submission, and negotiation of commercial offers across the full lifecycle of seating projects—including new business quotes, change management, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Develop in-depth understanding of customer expectations, platform strategies, and sourcing roadmaps; align Brose’s commercial strategy accordingly to maximize business opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with customer purchasing, engineering, and program teams to ensure alignment on volumes, pricing, investment agreements, and program changes.
- Monitor and analyze commercial KPIs such as take rates, volume forecasts, price evolution, and profitability across programs; report key insights internally and ensure timely updates in relevant systems (e.g., SAP, GECOS).
- Coordinate closely with global and regional cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, project management, controlling, logistics) to support project milestones and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support strategic sales planning, including quarterly forecasts, long-term customer strategy, and competitor intelligence.
- Track and evaluate market trends and competitor activities in the automotive seating segment; translate findings into actionable commercial insights.
- Review and manage all customer contracts and commercial documents (e.g., Nomination Letters, Tooling Agreements, Warranty Terms, General Terms and Conditions).
- Ensure smooth transitions through project life stages, from acquisition to SOP/EOP, including service parts planning and tooling handover coordination
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; technical understanding of seating systems is strongly preferred.
- 6–8 years of experience in automotive Tier-1 sales, including at least 5 years in seating or interior systems, with proven success managing European OEM accounts.
- Solid knowledge of automotive product development cycles and seating system components (e.g., structures, adjusters, comfort features).
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen, with experience handling complex RFQs, engineering changes, and long-term price agreements.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills; able to interface effectively with both customers and internal stakeholders across regions.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); German proficiency is a plus.
- Proficiency in SAP and other commercial reporting tools; analytical and detail-oriented.
