Head of Sales

Your tasks

  • Develop and propose effective sales strategy to the management team, which meets the revenue goals for Korea and HKMC as a global customer.
  • Develop an annual sales plan which supports the sales strategy agreed by the management team.
  • Sales plan should include realistic targets to meet the plan and optimistic targets to exceed the plan.
  • Full competitor analysis to be developed based on market research and assumptions from the customer purchasing strategy.
  • As part of company management team, contribute to the identification and definition of services and products, product positioning, pricing, and promotion strategies which could further grow the business of Brose Korea.
  • Work together with business divisions to support the relationship management for the purchasing organizations responsible for awarding business toward our sales plan.
  • Guide the business division sales teams through the annual sales planning.
  • Prepare quotations based on customer requests for quotations (RFQ). (Review  RFQ documents provided by the customer, if necessary with the support of other departments as e.g controlling, purchasing, test, etc).
  • Ensure that all existing commercial targets are met (Receivables, tooling invoices, price negotiations, claims, etc).
  • Ensure that customer technical requests and price targets are well communicated in Brose, especially in the sales planning.
  • Customer growth plans or production location changes should be well communicated to support Brose taking advantage of new opportunities / localization efforts.
  • Visiting HKMC regions outside of Korea to ensure the support of local Purchasing and as well support from the local Brose network.
  • Directly manage major existing client accounts and key prospects, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
  • Direct implementation and execution of sales policies and practices which adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.

Your Profile

  • Prepare quotations based on customer requests for quotations (RFQ). (Review RFQ documents provided by the customer, if necessary with the support of other departments as e.g. controlling, purchasing, industrial engineering, logistics and etc.
  • Lead acquisition project development accordance with Brose policies and procedures, as described in Brose´s PDP and PMP-Manual. Effective team management of a cross-functional project team, providing leadership for team member synergy, and minimization of functional conflict. Interfaces with peer managers, and central functions.
  • Initiate activities to improve revenues and to realize the activities together with related departments.
  • Establish and network reliable and sustainable relationship with the customer.
  • Prepare quotations based on customer requests for quotations (RFQ). (Review RFQ documents provided by the customer, if necessary with the support of other departments as e.g. controlling, purchasing, industrial engineering, logistics and etc.
  • Prepare a sales price proposal considering comparable products in the market and the competitor situation. Argue his sales price proposal with his supervisor.
  • Present and negotiate quotation with customer within the price limits agreed on with the supervisor and manage customer projects with low complexity in line with project management rules.
  • Verifying of contracts and documents (orders, purchasing- and warranty conditions); break down of deviations with already existing agreements. Evaluate the deviations and prepare a statement with support of related departments. Negotiate deviations with the customer.
  • Ensuring excellent communication and relationship between Korea and Global, regular personal visits to India, NA & EU and continuous online meetings are required.
  • Observe, analyze and evaluate the market situation with regard to sales potential, competitor activities as well as estimate trends and market evolutions for the products in charge.
  • The observation, analysis and evaluation are going to be reflected in the annual sales planning.
