Project Engineer

Your tasks
- Technical leadership, typically B-projects, in accordance with project management guidelines
- Definition of B-projects:These are projects in one or more regions where business, customer, and supplier relationships are yet to be established, considering diverse interests in a familiar or new plant environment, involving the adoption of the plant concept with partially new manufacturing and testing technology; in some cases, new components are developed; Product and customer specifications are partially known
- Development of drives/systems and cooling fan modules (CFM) in accordance with BEX, systems engineering, and project management guidelines under the guidance of the supervisor/project manager
- Development of solution approaches for products and processes, including alternative concepts—also utilizing new technologies, including a reasoned comparison of the advantages and disadvantages in consultation with the project manager
- Initiation and management of design to cost measures for product development and definition of product design
- Perform patent and market analyses (benchmarking); evaluating the results and deriving measures
- Collaboration in the methodical analysis of complex interactions in products and systems
- Concretization: methodical idea generation, conceptual drawings, drafts, calculation and simulation of key properties with the involvement of specialists, component design optimized to FEM conform design and manufacturing requirements, engineering, prototype development, validation tests
- Defining and approving the content of technical documents, considering the results of the relevant departments (e.g., testing, production planning) after consultation with the supervisor
- Coordinating the activities of external and internal development partners/suppliers in consultation with the supervisor and design engineer (task definition, quality assurance of results)
Your Profile
- 6 years of relevant professional experience
- Extensive knowledge of project management and development processes
- Knowledge of electric drive development and thermal management systems
- Ability to conduct Technical Design Reviews
- Knowledge of the SAP and CAD systems
