Tooling Design Engineer

Your tasks

• Lead tooling project execution and internal tooling activities, ensuring on-time delivery until customer acceptance and release.
• Collaborate with the machining center on new project activities to achieve shared goals.
• Lead tooling project development, including progress tracking and weekly status reporting.
• Monitor and follow up on tooling projects against technical solutions, timeline targets, and cost estimates (covering new projects and tooling spare parts).
• Execute tooling improvement initiatives for both internal and external projects.
• Lead tooling design and development processes.
• Perform CAD design tasks for tooling, including strip layout, data conversion, technical analysis, and simulation.
• Coordinate internal and external machining processes related to tooling components.
• Participate in the development and sourcing of new tooling-related suppliers.
• Adhere to occupational safety, health regulations, and 5S standards, implementing necessary measures for workplace safety, health, and environmental protection within your scope of responsibility.

Your Profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification from a technical institute.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in tooling design and engineering.
• Educational background in Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, or Quality.
• Solid knowledge of tooling principles, design, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in design software such as UG, SolidWorks, and Catia.
• Basic English proficiency with good writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage project timelines and costs effectively.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
