Your Tasks

Plan and manage product and manufacturing quality at Brose Tuscaloosa Plant with 38 production lines (door systems/seat adjuster assembly lines, automated rail sub-assemblies’ lines, and seat adjuster laser welding cells), annually producing millions of door/seat adjuster systems and cooling fan modules (CFMs). Lead and guide team including Quality Engineers/Coordinator/Technicians at various levels of education and experience, and influence overall quality of mechatronic vehicle components produced at the plant. Exercise authority and control over Quality Department to assure just-in-time/just-in-sequence (JIT/JIS) production for OEM customers. Plan, conduct, and review internal process and Quality Management System (QMS) audits to ensure plant manufacturing process system, to produce automotive mechatronic products including door systems, seat adjuster systems and cooling fan modules (CFMs) in high volume manufacturing plant environment, is organized, effective, optimized, and adopted plant wide. Analyze, validate, and ensure that Technical Functions, including Maintenance, Design, and Testing, comply with International Automotive Task Force (IATF) 16949 Quality Management System (QMS), International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001/45001/14001 quality/occupational health-safety/environmental standards.

Your profile

Sixty months’ experience as Quality Management Specialist, Quality Engineer, Assistant/Acting Quality Manager, or Quality Manager, or related, planning and reviewing internal process and Quality Management System (QMS) audits to ensure that plant manufacturing process system, to produce automotive mechatronic products including door systems or seat adjuster systems in high volume manufacturing plant environment, is optimized and adopted plant wide, or related.
