Your tasks
- Planning and execution of FMEA (D/P) creation and maintenance.
- Define and plan FMEA activities including scope, objectives, and schedules.
- Ensures the content of FMEA is up to date and live document.
- A timely follow up of the actions within the FMEA, to ensure that customer interfaces and relevant pass-thru characteristics are taken into consideration in the FMEA, eventually also in the supplier FMEA.
- Maintain compliance with AIAG-VDA, customer, and organizational requirements.
- Facilitate cross-functional FMEA workshops and ensure active team participation.
- Drive risk mitigation efforts by identifying, assigning, and tracking corrective actions.
- The update of the FMEA due to relevant product and process changes, customer complaints, failures and / or lessons learned.
- Ensure alignment between Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, and related quality documents.
- Feedback from customers, benchmarking, contacts from fairs, return of know-how from products in series production) and assuring implementation in future developments.
- Pursue “continuous improvement” through development of design/engineering applications.
- Maintain all the project related documents and represent as and when required.
Your Profile
- Formal education (and specialization): BE Mechanical with 6-8 years of working experience in relevant field.
- Sound knowledge of FMEA process, understanding of Severity, Occurrence and Detection ratings.
- Knowledge of AIAG & VDA FMEA standards (where applicable).
- Ability to identify failure modes, effects, and causes.
- Familiarity with risk prioritization methods (RPN, Action Priority).
- Understanding of product, process, and manufacturing systems.
- Basic knowledge of the software IQ-RM to present the FMEA in case of an audit or at the customer.
- Hands on working experience from Automotive industry in FMEA moderation.
- Knowledge of automotive motors and basics of tool design will be an added advantage.
- Basic professional skills for MS Office: power-point presentations word and excel documentations.
- Good written and verbal communication.
